Notes on the new iPhone 3G ad because I’m a nerd

“Dilemmas,” the new iPhone 3G ad which features Urbanspoon’s Urbanspoon. application that is the decider on where to chow, aired and posted in Apple’s ad section. Apple’s ad page. In this ad Apple disclaims the brevity of time with the message “Sequence shortened,” in the bottom area. It’s the first time I’ve noticed. And, really showing my nerdity here, this is the first ad that doesn’t display 9:42am as the time on the iPhone screen. Instead in this one, it’s 7:42pm.

Pic taken by “Quinallison ‘Q’ J.” Incidentally, the restaurant called in the ad, Sushi Bistro, is a real restaurant and that was its real telephone number. It’s in my old neighborhood.
