When is it OK to vote your race?

Racism to aid an Obama win
People might find it racist for one to vote one’s race, but that’s exactly what’s being done — to the success of Obama. That’s right, even more skewed than black-white TV watching, nine out of ten black voters pick black [1] 1 I’m writing with the dark-skin-means-“black” bias in mind. Blacks who pick Obama, and whites who pick Obama, are each picking the same amount of their own race. After all, he’s ½ black, and ½ white. than pick white. Some interesting statistics:
Article: “When Is It O.K. to Vote Your Race? - Freakonomics - Opinion - New York Times Blog”
In Pennsylvania, Obama won 92 percent of the black vote and 40 percent of the white vote.
In Indiana, Obama won 92 percent of the black vote and 39 percent of the white vote.
In Illinois, Obama won 94 percent of the black vote and 62 percent of the white vote.
In the first election where the choice exists, black voters are more racially biased than whites.
