LA Times: Europe's far-right revival isn't Nazism

Europeans grow tired of the stagnant political class and vote in a bit of “fresh air,” ushering in the parliament majority of far-right, nationalist parties. Crime-ridden Muslims fuel the growing distrust of outside customs, and liberal elites are now perceived as a hinderance to the sovereignty of some countries there, The Netherlands for example.

The liberal elites stifle discussion by calling opponents intolerant:

Tolerance, European unity, distrust of nationalism and vigilance against racism are all laudable goals. But promoting these aims without discussion, much less criticism, has resulted in a backlash.
